We grow from start to finish, right here in the greenhouses on our century farm, located between Bayfield and Zurich. We don’t just import plants, we grow them right here, year-round.

Custom Planting and Done-For-You Services
Love plants but don’t want to get your hands dirty?
We offer done-for-you planting solutions. Drop off your planters or pots and we'll do your planting for you. Bring us your empty containers and our designers will plant a one-of-a-kind creation based on your growing needs and colour preferences.
Or join our FOUR SEASONS CLUB and receive four stunning seasonal patio pots to spruce up any entranceway. A grand welcome, done-for-you, every season.

When Dave and Carol Steckle decided to add a greenhouse to their property back in the 1970s, they initially thought of it as a side hustle to support their farm.
Almost 50 years later, Huron Ridge Greenhouses is one of the largest greenhouses and garden supply centres in Huron County. The second generation has taken over the day-to-day operations of the business, but the commitment to growing exceptional plants and offering expert customer service hasn’t changed.

We grow the majority of our plants right here on the farm from start to finish and are dedicated to producing high-quality plants, vegetables and flowers, year-round. We are growers first and foremost. It’s what we do and it's in our blood.

Sustainable Growing Practices and Carbon Neutral Greenhouses
Huron Ridge Greenhouses is dedicated to sustainability and environmentally friendly growing practices. The greenhouses are carbon neutral and use renewable energy, mostly wood that has been adverted from landfills. If you have Huron Ridge branded pots, you can return them to the greenhouse for reuse.
