What is Lawn Guardian?
Lawn Guardian contains a targeted blend of beneficial nematodes—microscopic, soil-dwelling organisms that act as natural predators to turf-damaging pests like Japanese beetle grubs. Once applied to moist soil, these nematodes actively seek out and infect pest larvae, ultimately breaking the life cycle before the adult beetles can emerge. When do I apply the Nematodes?
When to Apply Lawn Guardian Nematodes
The best time to apply Lawn Guardian is in late summer to early fall . This is when Japanese beetle larvae are newly hatched and actively feeding near the surface of the soil—making them most vulnerable to nematode attack.
For best results:

Apply in the early morning or evening when temperatures are cooler.

Ensure the soil is moist before and after application to help the nematodes move through the soil.

How much do I need?
Each package of Lawn Guardian contains 10 million active nematodes, enough to treat approximately 2,000–3,000 square feet of lawn or garden.
For larger areas, additional packages may be needed to ensure complete and effective coverage.
